The public is now able to access an online map which enables them to easily track the location of past, current and upcoming road projects on the County of Kauai website.
The Department of Public Works and Information Technology Division created a geographic information system which tracks the progress of the Island Wide Road Resurfacing project and the status of County bridges. Part of the county’s Land Information Management System (LIMS) project.
The map allows everyone to track what funds were budgeted for road resurfacing and how much was spent to date. Plus you are now able to plan your routes around potential traffic delays on our Island by checking the status of certain projects.
